TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. In addition to the rental for my period, I am paying a £100 condition deposit. I understand that the £100 will be returned to me on condition the cottage is left in a condition in line with the instructions below.

2. I undertake on arrival at the property to check the inventory of the contents which I will find there and before departure, to replace any articles damaged, chipped or lost by me or my party and I understand that if I do not do so I shall be responsible for the cost of replacement of any such article which may be deducted from the sum mentioned above.

3. I undertake to take care of the property and contents and to leave them in a clean and tidy condition. If I have accompanying dogs (only permitted in No’s 10 & 12 Broad Street) I shall ensure they use their own beds and do not go upstairs or on any bed, sofa or any other soft furnishings in the property. I understand that my £100 condition deposit may be forfeited should dog hair be found upstairs or on any soft furnishing following my stay.

4. I understand that:

(a) If in any emergency you are unable to comply with your agreement to let the property to me that you will forthwith refund me the full amount of the money paid by me and your total liability is limited to the refund of such money.

(b) The owners of the property will not be liable for any loss or damage to any property or goods belonging to me or any member of my party or any person whom I may invite into this accommodation however that damage is caused (including negligence).

5. If I have paid only a part of my rental when booking I understand that:

(a) You must receive the balance of my rental not less than 2 months before the start of my booked holiday period or my bookings may be cancelled without further reference to me.

(b) If I fail to pay the balance as above, I agree that the landlords may retain my initial payment as reasonable compensation for their loss resulting from my failure to pay the balance and the consequent cancellation of my booking.
